Biography

Prof. Dr. Moustafa Mohamed Moustafa is a Professor of Ship Design in the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University. With extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership, his work primarily focuses on ship design optimization, energy efficiency, and green ship recycling. He has published numerous papers in international journals and conference proceedings and has supervised several Master’s and Ph.D. theses.

Educational Qualification

1. Doctor of Philosophy: (Faculty of Engineering – Port Said University)

November 2011, Awarded the Ph. D. Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Thesis Title: "Techno-Economical Optimization Applied to Nile Container Ships". 

2. Master of Science: (Faculty of Engineering – Suez Canal University

August 2006, Awarded the M. Sc. Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Thesis Title:  "Stability Problems of Hotel Ships Due to Bad Weather in River Nile Navigation".

3. Bachelor of Science: (Faculty of Engineering – Suez Canal University

May 2000, Awarded the B. Sc. Degree in Ship Engineering with General Appreciation Average (V. Good with The Degree of Honours 80.04%) and Project Appreciation (Excellent)
