Biography

Dr. Azza Ahmed ElDessouky is an electrical engineering professor at Egypt's Port Said University, where she has acquired the position of professor with distinction. She has approximately 30 years of expertise in academics and research, encompassing power systems, renewable energy integration, and smart grid technology. She has served as a referee for numerous significant specialty journals in the electrical power system.
Her research interests include power system optimization, protection and control, renewable energy integration, power system operation and management, improving power system resilience by leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning for problem identification, predictive maintenance, reactive power planning, real-time monitoring and power system protection. Dr. ElDesouky’s contributions have been recognized through multiple awards and prestigious publications.
