Dr. Eman Elshrief is an Assistant Professor in the Production Engineering and Mechanical Design Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University. She earned her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2021, focusing on fracture assessment and stress analysis of welded steel joints, and her M.Sc. in 2016, studying temperature distribution, distortion, and residual stresses in TIG welding processes.
Her research expertise focuses on stress analysis in advanced manufacturing, including additive manufacturing, severe plastic deformation, friction stir welding, and ultrasonic-assisted processes. She employs experimental methods and finite element modeling to evaluate residual stresses, fatigue behavior, and mechanical performance of engineered components. Her work contributes to advancing research and academic development in production engineering.
