Prof.Jehan is a Professor of English Language Curriculum and Instruction at the Faculty of Education, Port Said University, Egypt. She is an accomplished academic, researcher, and university administrator with extensive experience in English language education, curriculum and instruction, teacher education, postgraduate supervision, scientific research, and academic leadership.
Prof. Jehan served as Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Education, Port Said University, from 2019 to 2025. During her tenure, she played a significant role in managing and developing postgraduate academic and research activities, supporting postgraduate students and researchers, coordinating research-related affairs, and contributing to the advancement and quality of scientific research within the Faculty.
Prof. Jehan is currently serving as Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, where she contributes to strengthening the Faculty’s engagement with the wider community and promoting initiatives and partnerships that support community service, environmental development, and sustainable educational development.
Throughout Prof. Jehan's academic career, she has been actively involved in supervising, examining, and evaluating a large number of scientific research projects and postgraduate theses in English language curriculum and instruction and related areas of education. Her extensive supervision and examination experience has enabled her to support numerous postgraduate researchers in developing their research competencies and producing rigorous and academically significant scholarly work.
Prof. Jehan is also an accredited academic reviewer and peer reviewer for a number of Egyptian and international scholarly journals. Her international reviewing experience includes serving as a reviewer for Cogent Education, a Scopus-indexed Q1 journal published by Taylor & Francis, and Education and Information Technologies, an international peer-reviewed journal focusing on the integration of information and communication technologies in education. Through her peer-review activities, she contributes to the evaluation of scholarly manuscripts, assessing their theoretical foundations, methodological rigor, academic significance, and contribution to the field.
Her academic expertise encompasses English Language Curriculum and Instruction, English Language Teaching (ELT), teacher education and professional development, curriculum development and evaluation, educational research and research methodology, postgraduate education and supervision, educational technology, and academic and university administration.
Prof. Jehan’s academic career reflects a sustained commitment to excellence in teaching, scientific research, postgraduate education, academic peer review, and university leadership. Her extensive experience as a professor, postgraduate supervisor, academic examiner, journal reviewer, and university administrator has enabled her to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of English language education, educational research, and the professional development of teachers and researchers.

Prof.Jehan has actively contributed to the organization and coordination of numerous academic and scientific conferences at Port Said University. Her conference-related experience includes serving as a Conference Rapporteur at the First Conference of Postgraduate Studies and Research, Faculty of Education, Port Said University (2019), followed by the Second Conference of Postgraduate Studies and Research (March 18, 2023), the Third Conference of Postgraduate Studies and Research (April 27, 2024), and the First Scientific Conference on Practicum: A Sustainable Vision for Field Training in Faculties of Education (October 16, 2024). She also served as a Conference Rapporteur at the Fourth Conference of Postgraduate Studies entitled "Inclusive Design for Learning: Towards More Effective Learning for All,” held on May 3, 2025.
In addition, she served as a member of the Scientific Committee for the Humanities at the First Scientific Conference of the Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector, Port Said University, held on February 25, 2015. These experiences reflect her sustained engagement in academic conference organization, scientific coordination, and scholarly activities within the higher education sector.
