Biography

Prof. Dr. Eng. Medhat A. El-Hadek earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, AL, USA in 2003. Then worked for two years as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Southern University, GA, USA before coming back to Egypt. He has more than 50+ Journal publications and more than 100 conference papers (H-Index Scopus Ranking: 16, and H-Index ISI Journal Citation Reports Ranking: 18). 

He was the Department Head of Mechanical Design and Production Engineering at Port-Said Engineering University before joining King Salman International University. He is currently, the president of East Port Said University of Technology, East Port-Said, North Sinai, Egypt.

He was awarded the Pioneers of Mechanical Engineering award by the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate at 2019. 

He is the Holder of the First Class Excellence Medal of the Republic of Egypt Awarded by the Egyptian President at 2017. He was awarded the Republic of

Egypt State Encouragement Award for Engineering Sciences at 2015.
